 +====== Review ======
 +
 +Volunteer computing uses connected computers, volunteered by their owners, as a source of computing power and storage.
 +
 +The main idea of the paper is the research to what extent volunteer computing useful for more demanding applications. For this purpose authors studied the resources in the SETI@home host pool and the various factors that limits their use.
 +
 +Mainly authors measured SETI@home case and BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing). BOINC is a middleware system for volunteer computing. To be a volunteer client should install the BOINC, which will periodically scan our system and send the data to the server.
 +
 +Also there is a [[http://fta.inria.fr/apache2-default/pmwiki/index.php?n=Main.Publications|failure trace archive]] for the SETI@home.
